Most candidates obtain their overseas teaching positions by attending our U.S.-based International Recruitment Centers (IRCs) where ISS candidates interview with overseas school heads seeking new staff. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree and 2 years of current K-12 teaching experience. The experience may be waived for those who have overseas living or working experience, teaching certification, and a motivation to work in the developing world.
