Hansard Society
Hansard Scholars Programme
The Hansard Scholars Programme is an outstanding opportunity for undergraduate and postgraduate students to gain practical and academic experience of the British political system. Scholars do an internship (either in Parliament or with a Government department, media organisation, NGO or campaign group) and also study British politics at the London School of Economics. The Programme includes political study visits to Edinburgh and Oxford, and a full calendar of cultural and social activites.

ISPO or the International Student Placement Office was officially launched by the Southern Derbyshire Chamber of Commerce in 1999 following the increase in requests from local companies in the Derbyshire area of the UK for help in finding overseas students who are looking to take part in an internship in the UK for periods of anything from 1 to 12 months. Internship Program in Wales
A semester or year in Latin America at Friends World Center in San José suburb of Heredia, incorporates seminars, field study, travel, and independent projects. Seminars to introduce students into Latin America and its culture include Central American realities today, intensive Spanish for any level student, ecology and development, women’s studies in Latin America. Independent work has included: ecology, community development, peace studies, health and agriculture studies. Students may earn 12-18 credits per semester.

Scotland: Human Challenge of Sustainability at Findhorn
Examine the skills, understanding, and practices that are vital to community living at Findhorn - an international Ecovillage of 400 people on the scenic north coast of Scotland renowned for its environmental consciousness, personal and spiritual growth, artistry and education. Help regenerate the Caledonian Forest in the Scottish Highlands on a week-long Trees for Life project and spend a week on Erraid Island with a small farming community off Scotland's beautiful west coast. Participants earn 16 transferable college credits during this semester program.

The Washington, D.C.-London Internship Program will provide an integrated academic and work experience in a comparative and global context for students during the summer.
