ELI works with a variety of private companies, NGOs, and governmental organizations in Ghana, South Africa, Kenya, or Uganda.  Interns can work in the fields of healthcare, legal aid, human rights, engineering, IT, communications, wildlife and range management, microcredit, fashion, economic development, marketing, tourism, law, finance, and more. Working in another country challenges interns to develop cross-cultural competencies, independence, self assurance, and flexibility—all traits desired by employers. International internship experience can make your resume stand out and help you get your foot in the door.

Dates: Programs are available throughout the year and dates are flexible.

Volunteer Projects, Internships and GAP Years in Zimbabwe, Zambia and Malawi
Are you up for a challenge and life-changing experience? In our projects in Zimbabwe, Zambia and Malawi you have the great opportunity to make a difference and to work with the community on a grass-root level. Dates: The projects are ongoing and volunteers can join us on a daily basis

Connect-123 Internships in Cape Town, South Africa
Connect-123 creates tailor-made internships in Cape Town, South Africa in business, health care, human rights, education and many other fields. Business projects include conducting macro-economic research, reviewing business plans, working at local venture capital firms, teaching basic economics within local communities, and developing export strategies for Cape Town-based entrepreneurs. Health care projects include working directly with doctors on medical research projects, providing non-medical care to patients, attending ward rounds and helping the nursing staff care for patients.
