While studying abroad in Barcelona, CEA students will choose from either the Hispanic Studies Program or the Spanish Langauage Studies Program, both instructed at the University of Barcelona. The Spanish Language Studies Program is open to all language levels, while the Hispanic Studies Program requires a Low Intermediate or above language level.

City College of San Francisco
Semester in Madrid with City College of San Francisco
Spend a semester in vibrant Madrid, the city "that never sleeps", while attending Spanish Grammar and Conversation classes at La Complutense Madrid. Students also have the option of attending Art History and Spanish Civilization classes. The latter are taught in English and include a variety of site visits to museums, monuments and sites of historic interest.

NYU Summer Study Abroad - May through August

Penn-in-Alicante

Spanish Language Immersion Program in Madrid, Spain
The Spanish Language Immersion Program in Madrid is a four-week, intensive study of the language and culture of Spain. Open to SDSU students, students at other colleges and universities, and the general public. Participants earn four units of SDSU resident credit in Spanish; up to six units can be earned for an additional unit purchase fee. Living accommodations with Spanish-speaking families throughout Madrid. Courses are taught by the faculty of the Center for Spanish Studies at Antonio de Nebrija University in Madrid. Universidad Antonio de Nebrija is a small private university founded in 1985 and noted for its emphasis on Spanish language and literature instruction for international students.

Semester in Spain
Semester, year, summer, and January terms for high school graduates, college students, and adult learners. Beginning, intermediate, and advanced Spanish language studies along with Spanish literature, culture, history, and art. All courses taught in Spanish by native Spaniards. Four courses per semester, 1 course per short term, 4 credits per class. Homestays are arranged for all students.

In addition to fulfilling up to 2 years of university language requirements in only 1 semester, business courses and a new MBA program are available in Bilbao.
